Beach, corners, speed and above all fun. Forget boring asphalt. This will be a pure battle with the terrain right on the Lipno beach. We'll test your technique and find out if you have team spirit in the team relay.

What is Pells Beach Race?

Enjoy a ride on gravel, pass under the longest pier in Central Europe, and finish the day with a team relay. It doesn't matter if you have a gravel bike, a bike, or a cross bike – at Lipno, what counts most is the experience and the crew.

Location: Lipno nad Vltavou / beach at Molo Lipno

Time / Starts (race schedule):

13:00 – start of the main race (men) – 5 laps

14:00 – start of the main race (women) –

4 laps 15:00 – start of the Team Relay – 6 laps (1+1 lap relay)

16:30 – complete awards ceremony

Team competition: 3-member team (any combination M/W)

Men (15–35 years) Men (35+ years)

Women (15–35 years) Women (35+ years)

The race capacity is limited. To maintain quality and fairness of the battles, we reserve the right to adjust or merge categories based on the number of entrants. Don't wait and secure your slot in time!

Race format: race for a set number of laps

Track type: off-road loop at the beach with fun elements (stairs, obstacles, maze…)

Track surface: mixed type (gravel + dirt surface)

Track profile: flat to mildly rolling Allowed bikes: Gravel, Cyclocross, MTB

Adult categories: 250 CZK Team competition: 500 CZK

We want to do this right so you enjoy it. That's why we charge a symbolic entry fee. Not only will you race on the beach and ride under the longest pier in Central Europe, but you'll also support our KolemKolem project. Thank you.

Additional information:

A helmet is mandatory; riders without one will not be allowed on the course.

By registering for the race, individual participants confirm that they ride at their own risk.

Track: Our new track at Lipno isn't just a line on the map. It's a playground. We'll use every root, every patch of sand, and every gravel path so that everyone finds something for themselves. Because we're passionate and love to improvise, the track is constantly evolving in our heads – the final setup will be a unique experience tailored to the current conditions. Quality is guaranteed, though. The same professionals who have been fine-tuning tracks for the legendary Lipno Sport Festival for over 15 years are taking care of the route, and they damn well know how to build a track that simply won't let you go. Swap the sound of your derailleur for the steady beat of live music. On both Friday and Saturday nights, live bands will kick things off right on the beach, joined by the unique DJ Hugo Teyy. And if you haven't worn out your "fancy cleats" by sunset, you can keep the vibe going at the afterparty in the legendary J. Smith Music Bar.
