We process your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC), as amended.
Under the GDPR, we always process your personal data on the basis of one of the legal grounds set out in Article 6 GDPR, in particular:
your consent to the processing of your personal data
necessity for the performance of a contract to which you are party or to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract
our legitimate interests
necessity for compliance with our legal obligations
Our legitimate interests in processing your personal data include:
operating and developing our business activities
improving the quality of the products and services we provide

promoting our business activities, in particular the services or goods we offer, new products, discounts, interesting events and other matters related to our company
enforcing our legal claims
ensuring the security of our websites and their users
protecting our property, protecting the life, health and property of our employees, business partners, clients and all persons present in our company’s premises
The duration of processing of personal data depends on the purpose and legal basis of processing. Due to the varying scope and purposes, this period usually cannot be precisely determined in advance. The processing period is therefore governed by the following criteria:
If we process your personal data on the basis of your consent, we process it for the duration of that consent.
In other cases, we process your personal data for the period necessary to achieve the purpose, including subsequent administration related to termination of processing and erasure of the data.
If one of the grounds for processing ceases to exist, it does not automatically mean we must stop processing. As long as another legal ground remains (e.g. our legitimate interest ends, but processing is still necessary to perform a contract or comply with legal obligations), we may continue processing until all legal grounds cease to exist. However, if you withdraw consent, we will no longer process your data for the purpose for which that consent was originally given.
We primarily process personal data that you provide to us directly, and we process it mainly for our own purposes. In some cases, however, we may receive your personal data from third parties or transfer it to third parties. These may include in particular:
our accountants and tax advisors
our legal representatives
our business partners
our IT department
providers of data storage and cloud services
insurance companies, insurance agents and intermediaries
banks and payment service providers
entities providing marketing and PR services
public authorities (especially courts and public administration bodies)
law enforcement authorities (especially police and public prosecutors)
We may also obtain your personal data from publicly available sources, such as public registers (especially the Commercial Register), Trade Licensing Register, Insolvency Register, or Land Registry.
In some cases, providing personal data is necessary for us to fulfil our contractual or other obligations, pursue our legitimate interests, etc. For example, to conclude a contract and provide you with goods or services, we need to know your identification and contact details in particular. Where possible, we try to inform you in advance which data are mandatory (e.g. marked with an asterisk in online forms).
II. Rights related to the processing of personal data
Upon your written request, we will provide you with information about the processing of your personal data – the scope and conditions of processing. You may also request a copy of the personal data we process about you. We will respond in the same form as your request was submitted (electronic or paper), unless you ask for a different method in the request itself. If you request multiple paper copies, we charge an administrative fee of CZK 30 for each additional copy beyond the first one.
If you discover an error in the personal data we process about you, please send us a request for rectification, stating what the error is and what the correct data should be.
If you find that the personal data we process about you are incomplete, you may send a request for completion, stating how the data should be completed and for what purpose. Please note, however, that if the additional data are not necessary for the purpose of processing, we are not obliged to complete them.
If you believe we are processing more of your personal data than necessary, you may send a written request for restriction of processing. Please explain why you believe the scope is excessive. We will carefully assess your request and, if justified, restrict the scope of processing accordingly.
If you no longer wish us to retain your personal data, you may send a written request for erasure. We will carefully review the request and, if justified, erase your data. The grounds for erasure are listed in Article 17 GDPR. In some cases, however, we may not be able to comply with an otherwise justified request (see also Article 17 GDPR – e.g. when processing is necessary for exercising the right to freedom of expression and information).
If you disagree with processing based on our legitimate interest, you may object in writing. We will then assess whether our legitimate interest still exists and whether it outweighs your interests, rights and freedoms. If we find your objection justified, we will cease the processing to which you objected.
The supervisory authority for personal data protection in the Czech Republic is the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), located at Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7.
III. Consent to the processing of personal data
We only request your consent in cases where we cannot process your personal data on any other legal basis. Consent is therefore requested only exceptionally – e.g. for sending commercial communications, creating profiles, etc.
Giving consent is entirely voluntary and you can withdraw it at any time. Giving consent is not a condition for using our other services.
To withdraw consent, please send an email or letter to the contact details listed above. You can also withdraw consent to commercial communications by clicking the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email.
If you provided us with your email address in connection with the purchase of our products or services, we may – in accordance with Act No. 480/2004 Coll. on Certain Information Society Services – send you commercial communications to that email address even without your consent. In such cases we process your email address on the basis of our legitimate interest in promoting our business activities, goods, services, discounts, events, etc.
You may object to this processing (see section II. above regarding the right to object). Every commercial email also contains a link allowing you to unsubscribe. Once we receive your objection or unsubscribe request, we will stop sending commercial communications to that email address.

These Privacy Principles may be amended by us. The current version is always available on our website www.kolemkolem.info. We will inform you of any changes by email.
For the purposes of communication, email is also considered to be written form.
These principles apply from 1 February 2026.
