Via Crucis Trail

Set out along the Way of the Cross all the way to Maria Rast am Stein, built in 1898. Along the route, there are 14 stations adorned with cast-iron images and descriptions in English. Below Maria Rast, you can also see the Holy Sepulchre. If you look back from time to time, you’ll be rewarded with beautiful views of Vyšší Brod. At the first peak near the Holy Sepulchre, you’ll also notice a ruin – the remains of Alex Peckl’s former inn, where monastery beer was once served. On your way back, enjoy a pleasant ride along the new cycle path following the Devil’s Streams. Joy to the bone!
