Follow the Way of the Cross to the pilgrimage site Maria Rast am Stein, built in 1898.
Along the path, you’ll find 14 stations with cast-iron reliefs and descriptions in English. Below Maria Rast, you can also visit the Holy Sepulchre.
If you turn around from time to time, you’ll be rewarded with beautiful views of Vyšší Brod.
At the first hill near the Holy Sepulchre, notice the ruins – the remains of the former Alex Peckl Inn, where monastery beer was once served.
On your way back, enjoy a pleasant ride along the new cycling path following the Devil’s Rapids.
